Customizing Your Bike

Cadence has a pretty sophisticated business model when it comes to delivering your pristine and exotic new bike. When you purchase a bicycle from Cadence, you also get a whole litany of professional services to ensure that your end product is exactly fitted to your needs and custom specifications. A huge number of our bicycles are built to order, which means that, when you enter Cadence, we will walk you through a careful process which assists you in first selecting the frameset you want most, and then guides you along as you hand-pick each and every component you want to fully personalize your unique machine.

We want your bicycle to be an extension of your personality, as unique, rare, and colorful as you are. Nevertheless, if you prefer to buy a complete bike package from us, we just as eager to help you and get you the perfect fit. At Cadence, we offer complete bike packages from world-class frame makers like Cervelo and Wilier.

Maintenance

Of course, all bikes require maintenance. Cables have to be replaced, cassettes and chainrings need upgrading, chains need replacement, and other parts wear out from fatigue and the elements. Our Barnett's certified mechanics are the finest anywhere. Each of our mechanics has been hand picked, certified in Colorado Springs at the Barnett Bicycle Institute, and then apprenticed under the watchful eye of our Master Mechanics in Philadelphia and New York.

Cadence's Chief Technician, Thomas Wood, is known throughout the country as one of the Nation's most gifted and talented service technicians. He has appeared in a number of articles, and was recognized for his excellence in Bicycling magazine's January 2005 issue. In addition to being a top-notch cycling mechanic, Tom holds a certificate from the prestigious ASE for automotive maintenance and repair. In fact, he turned down the opportunity to work with BMW North America so that he could be a part of the Cadence team.

The Best Mechanics

Always under the vigilance and care of our Chief Mechanic, Cadence only accepts the finest and most skilled mechanics in the industry. Once your frameset, wheelset, gruppo, and components have been chosen, our senior technicians ensure that your new ride is meticulously and lovingly built with the same kind of care it will receive when you take it home. Then, Cadence goes that little extra further by providing free lifetime scheduled maintenance on any bike you purchase from us.
