Founded in Kona, Hawaii, the home of the Ironman Triathlon World Championships, Zoot Sports began making performance apparel that catered to elite athletes competing in the then emerging sport of Triathlon. Originator Crystal Nyland, who lived in Kona, noticed that the athletes competing in Ironman needed something special, something more functional, than what was currently offered. In other words, triathletes needed a solution to avoid having to use the transition as “changing areas.”
To this day that same spirit of innovation and creativity drives every Zoot design. Zoot is singularly driven to find product solutions for multisport athletes.
